Rolex-Patek Phillipe *

Beverly Hills, California

Gruen Associates serves as both the architect and landscape architect for a three-story retail project housing two prestigious tenants: Rolex and Patek Philippe.

The Rolex façade showcases dual-layered, green-tinted glass, reflecting the brand’s iconic color. Curved panels with bronze mullions create a fluid elegance. Its innovative suspended frame spans the building’s width without intermediate supports, eliminating transoms to emphasize the wave-like design. Patek Philippe’s façade, clad in honed beige marble, exudes timeless sophistication. Continuous vertical reveals with lighting from base to top enhance the marble’s elegance, creating a striking visual effect.

A grand circular staircase connects all three levels, with strategic slots enhancing flow between floors. A sleek “fin” descends from its center to add a bold focal point while a skylight illuminates the space, amplifying its grandeur. The rooftop VIP terrace offers a seamless indoor/outdoor experience with fully opening sliding doors and a lush California-style landscape. Guests enjoy breathtaking views of Beverly Hills, blending natural beauty with an exclusive ambiance that defines the luxurious character of the project.
