Royal Palms State Beach

Gruen Associates prepared conceptual and landscape design development plans for the historic beachcombers area. Design elements included a new paved parking lot, new lifeguard quarters, new restrooms, renovation of the original terrazzo dance floor, outdoor fireplaces and showers. In addition, the historic palm grove and flagstone walks from the original 1912 plan were recreated.
