As part of the 2022 Academy for Emerging Professionals Committee in the role of Associate Director-South for AIA California’s Board of Directors, Mashawnta Armstrong, Assoc. AIA hosted architecture school students at Gruen Associates’ office, where she is a Project Manager. Following introductions, Mashawnta engaged the students in discussions on the realities of the business side of architecture as well as walked over to the nearby Academy Museum of Motion Pictures for a brief tour.
