The $500-million transit hub, which is expected to open in 2024, will span across a 9.5-acre site at the corner of Arbor Vitae Street and Aviation Boulevard. The project includes access to the Metro light rail trains and a sixteen bus bay plaza with California native landscaping and pedestrian amenities. In addition, the station features a bike hub, a private vehicle drop-off zone and easy access to the LAX people mover, interactive information kiosks, public restrooms and commercial space for tenants who will provide passenger conveniences. This connection will create a fully inter-modal facility that will become a new point of arrival into the city.
