Mt. SAC officials and Foothill Transit hosted a groundbreaking July 14th for the Mt SAC Transit Center which is set to open Spring of 2022.
The ceremony was at the site, with stakeholders and consultants in attendance. The new Transit facility features ten bus bays and custom shelters located around a central plaza and will accommodate pedestrian loading and unloading. Construction of the Transit Center will include improvements to vehicular and pedestrian circulation; landscape, hardscape, seating, fencing, lighting, and utility infrastructure. The project client team was a collaboration between Mt. Sac College staff and Foothill Transit.
Gruen Associates is the Architect and Landscape Architect in collaboration with Psomas as the Prime consultant and Civil Engineer.
