Intermediate Architectural Urban Designer
Requirements: MA in Architectural studies w/ emphasis on urban design including research experience on issues of architecture and urban design of ethnic and overseas communities, including building technology and architectural vernacular. Also requires Portfolio of design works incorporating two and three dimensional AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Indesign. Executes alternate design concepts through drawings or models for both overall projects and portions of projects under the supervision or and for the review by senior designers. Research of plans and designs for building and urban design projects. Consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structures or renovations. Analyze site conditions. Provide guidance to junior designers for the refinement of design concepts. Prepare graphic presentations. Use computer-assisted design-software to prepare project designs and pans. Perform other duties assigned, to include but not limited to area calculations, code verification, model building, and research.


Architectural Designer - Intermediate
Requirements: Bachelor of Architecture degree plus two years of experience; or Master of Architecture degree or equivalent. Must have proficiency in AutoCAD 2005. Executes alternate design concepts through detailed drawings or models for structures of projects under the supervision of and for the review by a licensed architect; researches plans and designs for building and urban design projects; consults with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structures or renovations; analyzes site conditions; provides guidance to junior designers for the refinement of design concepts; prepares graphic presentations; uses computer assisted design software (CAD) to prepare designs, charts, forms, and records; performs area calculation, code verification, model building, and research. Communicates with clients and coordinates with consultants.


Construction Administrator
Minimum 10 years relevant experience for an architectural office with Type I commercial and institutional projects, preferably with a Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited University. Coordinate with client, project manager, contractor and consultants; responsive, thorough, follow-thru, document, understands roles and responsibilities of all parties. Sensitive to design intent with knowledge of construction, codes, materials, and building systems. Use of Microsoft Word, Excel , WordPerfect, and Autocad.
